NCCF Sunday School is responsible for encouraging spiritual growth and discipleship through teaching, reaching and ministering to members and guests via the Word of God. While ministering to the diverse NCCF congregation, teachers/facilitators in each class are challenged to ensure the lesson content is Real, Relevant and Rewarding. NCCF Sunday School classes take place at the Main and the Northwest Campuses.
Real
The Inspired Word of God is real. The teachers/facilitators are challenged to rightly divide the Living Word- factoring in the context, culture, and history of what was taking place in the scripture. We invite hearers to gain an understanding and appreciation of the Word of God by applying it to their lives.
Relevant
Through innovative presentation styles and methods, the different Sunday School classes present the Word of God in
ways that make it “Relevant” to the lives and culture of our students.
Rewarding
The Investment made in the life of each NCCF disciple builds a stronger personal relationship with Christ and the Holy Spirit. “Transforming lives through Jesus Christ” is seen in our stewardship, our homes, our churches and our service to others.
NCCF SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
The Traditional Sunday School class is designed to demonstrate God’s love and care for people by connecting Biblical principles to everyday life using traditional teaching materials.
The Living Waters Sunday School class is comprised of believers who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are committed to study and apply God's Word in an effort to improve their walk with God. The scriptural basis for this class is John 4:10. Input by all keeps this class vibrant and non-stagnant, thus the name "Living Waters."
The Believers I AM Sunday School class is a very strong opinionated group of long and short tenured NCCF members who believe in the practical application of the Word with relevant discussion and expected manifestations.
The God’s Fuel for the Soul Sunday School class is a dynamic group composed of believers at varied levels of faith and fueled by the power of God’s Word. This prepares members to share their faith and hope with others. Members build strong and meaningful relationships by engaging in lively group discussions. This is the bedrock of this class. God’s Fuel for the Soul is made up of members from all age groups and marital statuses.
The Master’s Men’s Sunday School class is composed of NCCF men. While using the same curriculum as the other classes, the comments, discussions, questions, and class interactions are generally from a male’s point of view.
The Spanish Language Sunday School class engages participants in a structured curriculum that provide members either an introduction or a boost in their Spanish language skills. This class is offered periodically to meet the needs of those who are interested.
The Christ & Culture Sunday School Class strives to help navigate believers and those who want to believe and understand the Reality of everyday living of the Christian. The Relevance to real situations of life and application. The Relational work in which we learn to welcome Christ into our lives, our decisions, and connections. With Christ as our lead, we learn to transform our Culture of interaction and environments, as we encounter life day by day to unlearn and relearn. Reality, Relevance, Relational, Christ belongs in our Culture. We embrace the members between the ages of 30 – 45, yet all are welcome.
"Pursuers of the Word” Sunday School Class is a group of life longlearners who enjoy studying the Word of God in depth. As "Pursuers of the Word”, we appreciate each other’s testimony as we share our experiences and lessons learned. Our desire is to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height in knowing the love of Christ which surpasses all understanding. We are passionate in our pursuit, demonstrative and even loud at times, but we know we are being thoroughly equipped for every good work as we rightly divide the Word of Truth. We understand that “God’s inspired Word is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in right living:” 2 Tim 3:16. We believe that we are being armed to serve as we remain “Pursuers of the Word”!

The Just Want to Honor God class operates in a no judgment zone which allow participants to be transparent and open about struggles. This transparency allows us the opportunity to take the lesson at hand and support each other in living the life Christ died for us to live. We always seek to have transformation through Christ. Our class is mostly women, diverse in age (20-70), and unified in seeking to fulfill scripture as women, honoring God, honoring one another, and growing in Christ. “Make me to know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths” Psalms 25:4 If you “Just Want to Honor God" come join us this Sunday.
Rising Up In Everyday Living Young Adult Sunday School class focuses on transforming lives of young adults between the ages of 18 and 45. Together we study to grow in wisdom and revelation of God’s Word for application in everyday life. The Rising Up In Everyday Living Young Adult class offers a fresh perspective to a younger generation. Bible centered, the class offers a great place to connect with each other addressing life concerns in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, excitement, and a liberty to be real. We are eager and hopeful “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17
FAITH WALKERS Sunday School class seeks to understand biblical principles so that we effectively apply them to our daily lives. We trust that where there is greater understanding there is greater faith. FAITH WALKERS class members are committed to supporting one another as we each walk out our God given purpose. As we seek the Lord through His word for our daily living, we are able to declare His word for our lives in that “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my pathway” Ps 119:106. Faith Alive Sunday School class consists of committed believers focused on seeking a higher level of understanding and knowledge of God's Word in order to obey His commands and become true Ambassadors of Jesus Christ. The class deals with the life, the soul and aspirations of individuals for a lifetime. Consequently, it is our belief that because our God is Alive, our faith is too! Therefore, we desire to study and know the full revelation of Scripture so we can live holy lifestyles that draw the lost, the marginalized, the disenfranchised, the sick, the tormented, and the brokenhearted from the north, south, east and west to be saved, healed, delivered and set free, that they may walk in divine liberty experienced through the transforming power of Jesus Christ, and His Holy Word. We are Faith Alive because “we have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer us who live, but Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself up for us.” Galatians 2:20
