New Creation and Friends,
As we prepare to virtually observe the Holy Ordinance of Communion this coming Sunday (April 5, 2020 - 10:00am), we invite you to gather your family together and to prepare elements to symbolically represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Crackers and grape juice are commonly used symbols but we encourage you to use whatever you have available in your home. This Holy Ordinance is observed by those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and have been baptized.
During the service, Pastor Emerita Copeland and Bishop Copeland will lead those participating online in the observance of communion so the church can celebrate together.
We look forward to worshiping with you.
Luke 22:19-20 - And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
