Scholarship Eligibility Guidelines
(2012-2013)
The NCCDC David M. Copeland scholarship application is open to students of the local community. Although there is no requirement for applicants to be members of New Creation Christian Fellowship, there should be a strong indication of their community involvement in a faith-based organization.
Applicants may apply by downloading their application from www.nccfonline.org. Applications will be accepted July 15th – August 5th. Applicants may complete the application and attach their supporting documents in an email to scholarshipnccf@gmail.com.
Paper applications may be scanned along with the supporting documents and emailed to scholarshipnccf@gmail.com ; or mailed to the NCCDC c/o Scholarships at 8700 Fourwinds Dr. Windcrest, Texas 78239-1917 postmarked by August 5th.
Hand delivered applications are NOT accepted.
A. Eligibility Requirements: (Must provide all)
· Must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher
· A minimum of 24 hours of volunteer community service with contact person’s information
· Letter of enrollment for the 2012-2013 academic year at a regionally accredited college or university pursuing a degree or a vocational certification

§ 2012 -2013 Scholarship Application (www.nccfonline.org)
§ 3 Letters of Recommendation (emailed to scholarshipnccf@gmail.com or mailed directly to the NCCDC, 8700 Fourwinds Dr. Windcrest, Texas 78239-1917 postmarked by August 5th.)
§ Personal Statement of the social impact you have made, and aspire to make on the community when you complete your studies. (maximum 250 words)
§ Proof of community volunteerism (signed letter from volunteer organization)
§ Academic Transcript (high school or college)
§ Proof of enrollment (acceptance letter, proof of registration, class schedule)
B. Selection Process:
Applicants will receive correspondence by August 15th indicating the amount of their award. Awards will be granted directly to the school in the name of the student upon proof of enrollment for the current semester. One half of the total award will be issued each semester. A formal public announcement will be made the third Sunday in August (August 19, 2012) indicating the recipients of the award.
